Our Process

  1. INITIAL FREE IN-HOME CONSULTATION
This initial stage involves determining your needs, including the scope of the project, timeline and budget.

  2. PLANNING/DESIGN AND BUDGET DEVELOPMENT
This stage we take the time to fully understand your vision, then translate it into specific plans and then prepare a detailed estimate. During this stage a highly experienced estimator works with you to develop a design concept that fulfills your vision and meets your budget.

  3. CONTRACTS
After the design, product selection, and scope of work have been determined, a final contract document, specifically stating these items is produced. At this time, a deposit is collected, all products are ordered, and your project is assigned a projected start date.

  4. PERMITS
We handle and expedite all necessary applications to obtain all building permits to ensure strict compliance with all local/state building codes and city ordinances.

  5. CONSTRUCTION
Time to see your vision turn into reality. The length of this phase can vary from a few days to a few months depending on the size and scope of your project. Throughout this phase, you will become very well acquainted with our personable in-house team members. You will often see your project superintendent stop by at frequent intervals to assure all the details are carried out as planned.

  6. PROJECT COMPLETION
The final step in our process is for your project manager to perform a final jobsite review to see that everything has turned out as planned and that you are completely satisfied with the outcome. With your permission, we will take pictures of your completed project to help inspire other homeowners that are just embarking down the remodeling road.

  7. WARRANTY
Once the project is complete, FHC will provide you with a written two (2) year warranty on the work performed.
